TouchPlot is an excellent replacement for overpriced graphing calculators. The TouchPlot is the perfect app for those who need a graphing calculator but don't want to pay $90 or more to buy one. The app does everything the TI-83 does, and it does better and easier. Graphing with TouchPlot is uncomplicated and effortless. The app is full featured and graphs all types of equations including 3D graphs. Additionally, it can also integrates, finds min/max values, intersections and more. Almost anything that can be graphed can be done with this app. The Touchplot is an excellent choice to accomplish and fulfill the majority of the user's math requirements.

In sale to celebrate version 4.0 !

TouchPlot is a powerful grapher with a long list of features :
- formula editor with custom keyboards along with prettyprint display of the formula being entered. Since version 4.0, an alternative algebraic formula editor is provided, and the learning curve is now much lower.
- symbolic differentiation
- numeric integration with graphical display
- user-defined, easy to manage, libraries of functions
- representative curves of functions with a focus on accuracy and speed, with several modes for inspection (zeros, extrema, intersection and values, definite integration)
- calculation of first terms of iterative sequences, and graphical representation of them
- parametric curves in cartesian and polar coordinates
- (numerical) solutions of ordinary differential equations (first and second order) with vector fields
- user defined constants with sliders to observe how a curve is changed by a parameter, or to adjust initial conditions of a differential equation particular solution...
- logarithmic scales if needed, adjustable separately for horizontal and vertical axis.
- drawing of equations, inequations solutions, contourplots, gradient fields, and 3d-plotting of surfaces with equation z=F(x,y).

See the website for documentation, tutorials and activities, videos.

P.S. : here's a hint for those who don't know : you can get a screenshot of the current view by pressing home+lock buttons.

P.P.S. : if despite the embedded documentation and the tutorials on the website you encounter a difficulty, you can get support through email. The adress is very easy to be found in the website as well as in the embedded documentation. (See About section).

Very useful! Support team is great! - 5 stars - June 10, 2010
I'm a math professor and this app is very useful to me. I can use it to prepare my practices lessons simulating equations. Its price is ok too!
Incredible app. Definitely buy this. - 5 stars - April 11, 2010
Amazingly powerful, and cheap! Love the website too. Just plotted Lotka Volterra.
From a biophysicist: slick and poweful!! - 5 stars - January 28, 2010
I have used this program regularly in my research for sometime. It makes great plots for exploring functions and estimating values. A steal at this price.
Mathematics teacher - 5 stars - January 12, 2010
Awesome app. TI should be worried. Does it all- polar, parametric, 3d, implicitly defined curves, you name it. Plus, the price is phenomenal.
Awesome - 5 stars - September 30, 2009
Just wanna say that this app is totally worth the money. I've been using for a while now, it was great for calculus 1,2 and 3. And now it's helping me a lot in DFQ. One thing I would like to see is to be able to solve a definite integral by typing in the bounds; it's hard to tap the numbers I want as my bound in the graph. Otherwise great app, thanks a lot dev!!!
