Fast Contacts has has a sorting feature that allows the user to sort the contacts the iPhone by City, State, Company, Birthday, and many other useful categories. The app also pulls in the contacts already stored on the iPhone into it's database, skipping the data entry step and therefore making the switch to this app quick and painless.

How FastContacts Works

FastContacts uses information from your Contacts application on your device (i.e. Address Book) to organize/sort contacts. For example, when you sort your contacts by "Events by month", FastContacts uses the date field information (any date field such as birthday or anniversary that is stored for a contact) to sort and display the contact list.
Note: FastContacts does NOT duplicate your contact data - it reads/writes your existing contact data from your iPhone.

Just "good stuff" - 5 stars - October 20, 2009
I don't usually write reviews, but I just had to for this awesome app. It works so seamlessly that I even forgot that I used a different app for my contacts. Definitely a must have for all iPhone/Touch users: it does what you need it to and never gets in your way while you are doing it.

Problem - 2 stars - October 19, 2009
I'm using fast contacts on Iphone 3G3 with OS 3.1.2 and when I make a call from fast contacts and end call the Iphone does not return to fast contacts it just stays on the phone application. Is there a fix?

So many ways to sort out contact info!
It unfortunately Started loading slower and slower, then froze up my phone
Deleted it then downloaded it again
This is your last chance!

THIS APP IS ABSOLUTELY FANTSATIC. IT IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE APP THAT COMES WITH THE TOUCH. IT MAKES FINDING CONTACTS SO EASY AND FAST AND THE LOOK IS ALSO GREAT. GREAT JOB GUYS.
