The Weather Channel app blows the standard weather app away. This app can do anything from hour by hour weather tracking to a 10-day forecast. In addition to zoom enabled radar imagery for rain, snow, clouds and more, it also can stream video from The Weather Channel for the main city closest to the one the user is looking at. It also keeps track of storm warnings as well. The Weather Channel is a very complete and very affordable weather app.

It's ok, but missing key features - 3 stars - January 5, 2010
Why can't I get a map overlay that shows cold fronts and highs/lows, etc? I should also be able to turn on whatever layers I want and adjust transparency for each. Knowing where the rain is is important, but knowing where the front is is also.
I want to be able to scroll up on the Current Conditions page and see todays outlook and highs lows. I shouldnt have to go to 36 hour to see today.
Weather.com is the most accurate source for forecasts that I've found, which ultimately is most important, but their presentation of the information has always been severely lacking.
I'm putting something in my hand so I can have all of the weather all of the time. So give it to me. Not this dumbed down "it's raining"
