iSki provides snow data, weather, trail maps, webcams, and other information relating to any ski resort. The app also tracks GPS data like average speed, max speed, and elevation. Add your friends' cell phone numbers and the app will drop a pin on their location in the resort. The interface is easy to use and allows snow alerts to be sent to the users phone, if requested. I would recommend this app to any skier or snowboarder.

iSki App and Smith Optics
On January 31--we are giving away brand new Smith Optics gear. Phenom and Fuse goggles, helmets! Yes. All you need to do is register from within iSki App, available through the app store.
In iSki on your iPhone or iPod Touch, watch for ads announcing this promotion--they will link you to the registration page. Just tap on the ad, and you are there.
Download and register soon and get your friends to do the same. The more folks register--the more gear we give away. And we want to give away a LOT of gear.
Thanks for Smith Optics for their participation in this promotion. Great gear!

Thanks to everyone that has helped make the iSki app GREAT. New for the 2010 season--the app is no longer free (but that is good news...).
Yeah. Ads have been annoying for you--and unsuccessful for us. So, we have a win/win situation here. A measly $1.99 will get you and your friends the coolest snow totals tool out there.
We are looking for some more promotions that were successful last year. Watch for coming announcements either or iski.apptime.com or snowfinder.com
Welcome to the 2010-2011 season for those skiers and snowboarders north of the equator!
With iSki you can know the snow, before you go--even better than last year. There are more than 800 resorts for which we provide snow data. BUT, we would like you to check out our TOP FEATURES to use while at your resort of choice:
Pace Tracer: Turn your iPhone on and track your run. How many vertical feet did you drop? How fast were you going? Be safe. Stay Legal. But HAVE FUN!
Sidekick Search: Keep an eye on each other--using the GPS technology, you can find each other--at an instant.
Cool Features! - 5 stars - January 13, 2010
I like the features this App has. Pace Tracer is fun to use on the slopes and Sidekick Search works well when I am skiing with friends. I haven't had problems with the App crashing and the banner Ads don't bother me too much. Sometimes you can find good deals.
Too Many Ads - 1 star - January 7, 2010
Even if it is a free, ad-supported app, c'mon! SnowBomb & Powder Church have no ads at all and the others are either just banners (Ski & Snow Report) or blatant (REI & North Face.) Ditch the full ad upon each opening and get right to the resort info!

I has this app open right after downloading but now it crashes every time. I've reported it twice but have not heard back. Please respond I liked this app!
Best Ski/Snow data app ever - 5 stars - December 18, 2009
This is the coolest app I have ever seen for skiing and snowboarding!!!! All of your favorite apps are at your finger tips. The new GPS page is great! The Powder Aider page is a great way to see where the snow is. Thanks for this app. I'll be checking it every day during the winter!
New version, best snow app of the season. - 5 stars - December 14, 2009
Checked out the new version. They have fixed the silly powder alerts issue from last year and added some cool new features. I like to track my runs and find my friends which I can do. Works on the streets, can't wait to try it on a resort. Come on snow!
